In The Void I see Myself

In the summer of 2025, Hugo had an internship with Romeofilms where he created several poster series for various events and media, specifically some movies and a gallery event. One of those gallery events was titled “In the Void, I Face Myself” by Krutie Thakkkar, where she did various painting portaits of people in her neighborhood and family to demonstrative themes revolving around the Cherokee Tribe ancestry she inherits and lives in.

In order to first make the posters in Adobe Indesign, Hugo Hodge realized he had to produce pencil drawings in his sketchbook for some type/image layout iteration, alongside the practice that comes with painting sketches.
